Kerrie Bellisario is a transformational arts leader with more than 30 years of progressive experience spanning museum administration, curatorial practice, higher education, and creative scholarship. Since joining the Haan Museum as Executive Director and Chief Curator in 2024, Kerrie has led a period of dynamic institutional growth — achieving a 24% increase in visitation, an 88% increase in programming, and a 38% expansion of the museum’s digital presence in a single year.
Kerrie has curated more than 60 exhibitions throughout her career, including the Haan’s celebrated exhibitions Hoosier Group: Indiana’s First Impressionists (2024–2025), Legacy in Clay (2025), and 200 Years of Lafayette Art and Culture (2025). She previously served as Executive Director of ArtWorks! Contemporary Art Center in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and as a Consultant and Curator for the National Park Service for over a decade. She holds an MFA in Sculpture and Photography from the University of Connecticut and currently serves on faculty at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Kerrie is an Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Communications and holds executive certificates from Harvard, Cornell, and Rutgers universities.
