The Haan Museum of Indiana Art offers learning experiences for all ages, from K–12 school programs to community events, monthly art talks, and summer camp.
Field Trips (Reservation Required)
The Haan welcomes K–12 school groups for educator-led field trips connecting students to Indiana art and history. Hands-on art-making,STEM/ STEAM, and literacy-based immersive learning experiences are available with our Teaching Artists. For Kids
Painting in the Sculpture Garden
Students create original artwork inspired by our outdoor sculpture collection in this hands-on art program.
Find-the-Art Scavenger Hunt
An interactive discovery experience through the museum’s galleries that builds observation skills and art appreciation.
Monthly Art Chats
Open to all ages. Build your art vocabulary and connect with The Haan’s curatorial and education team in a friendly, informal setting.
Community Events
Free community programs run throughout the year, including eARTth Day events in partnership with Purdue University and other seasonal activities.
STEAM Summer Camp
STEAM at the Museum is an all-day, week-long summer camp for middle school students (ages 10–14). Campers explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on projects, culminating in the creation of an interactive art exhibition held at The Haan at a special public opening.
