As a member, you never pay for general admission — which means you can visit as often as you like, bring friends, revisit favorite works, and catch every new exhibition without a second thought. And your membership does more than benefit you: it directly funds the museum's day-to-day operations, helping keep our historic mansion open, our collections preserved, and our programs running.
Membership Levels

Student
Membership for one student with valid school ID. The most accessible entry point to everything the Haan has to offer — and the best deal in the Lafayette arts community for students at Purdue and area colleges.
Individual
Membership for one adult. Free general admission all year, plus all standard member benefits. A single visit pays for itself.
Family
Membership for two adults, plus admission for children or grandchildren ages 5 through 17. The most popular membership level for families in the Greater Lafayette area — and one of the most affordable ways to make art a regular part of family life.
Membership FAQ
How is my membership used?
Membership dues go directly to the museum’s operating fund — supporting daily operations, staff, conservation, and programs. The Haan receives no government operating subsidy, and membership revenue is among the most critical and flexible sources of support we have.
Is my membership tax deductible?
A portion of Shulz, Winter, and Steele memberships is tax deductible, as noted above. Basic and Bundy memberships are not tax deductible because the value of benefits received equals or exceeds the contribution amount. Consult your tax advisor for details.
Can I give a membership as a gift?
Absolutely. A Haan Museum membership makes a meaningful and unusual gift for art lovers, history enthusiasts, families, and anyone who has visited and loved the museum. Contact us at admin@haanmuseum.org or (765) 742-6449 to arrange a gift membership.
What is NARM/ROAM?
NARM (North American Reciprocal Museum) and ROAM (Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums) are reciprocal membership programs that give Bundy-level and above members free or discounted admission to over 1,400 participating museums across the United States and beyond. This benefit alone makes the $100 Bundy membership an extraordinary value for any museum-going household.
When does my membership begin?
Memberships begin on the date of purchase and are valid for one year from that date.

Purdue and Area College Students
We offer a $25 Student membership for any student with a valid school ID. This gives you free general admission all year — which means you can visit as often as you want for less than the cost of two standard admissions. The Haan is 7 minutes from the Purdue campus and open Wednesday through Saturday, 1:00 to 4:00 PM. It is one of the most remarkable buildings and collections within walking distance of campus — and most students have never been.
